Sorry to email you at such a funny time – I’m sure you know how it is with little people! Haa.
We’d like to thank thank thank thank thank and then thank you some more for having helped us so much in the ways that you have. We have learnt so much from you. Your class has definitely been invaluable to me (though I hope it won’t disturb you too much to know that I thought of you a fair bit during the labour/contractions).
Here’s a photo of our new little arrival – Archie. He was born on Sunday 7th in the end so just missed sharing his birthday with my sister!
The contractions started on the Tuesday afternoon at about 10am and carried on right up until the early hours of Thursday morning. It was all manageable with the breathing techniques which was such a relief. And, would you believe it that only 1.5 hours after we got the hospital he arrived! And in spite of all that high risk stuff… they were happy for me to go to the birth centre! I couldn’t believe it!
